Lewis Mayo (born March 19, 2000 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish football player who is under contract with the Glasgow Rangers .

Career

Born in the Scottish metropolis of Glasgow, Mayo joined the Rangers at a very young age . Until 2020 he played mainly in the club's youth teams, most recently in the U20. Between January and July 2020, Mayo was awarded to the Scottish second division club Partick Thistle . For the club from the Glasgow district of Maryhill , he completed his first appearances in the field of professionals when he came to a game against Queen of the South , Dundee United and Dunfermline Athletic .

National team

Lewis Mayo made six appearances for the Scottish U17 national team in 2017 . With the team he took part in the European Championship in Hungary in May 2017 , where he was used in all three group matches. From September 2017 he was active in the U19 for the next two years , and came up with seven games.
