Ronnet is located about 18 kilometers south-southeast of Montluçon . Ronnet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Arpheuilles-Saint-Priest in the north and west, Durdat-Larequille in the north and northeast, La Celle in the east and northeast, Ars-les-Favets in the east, La Crouzille in the southeast, Virlet in the south and Marcillat- en-Combraille in the southwest.
