Braize is located about 38 kilometers north-northeast of Montluçon . Braize is surrounded by the neighboring communities Charenton-du-Cher in the north, Saint-Bonnet-Tronçais in the east, Meaulne-Vitray in the south, Urçay in the south-west, Lételon in the west and Coust in the north-west.
