Saint-Angel is located in the Bocage Bourbonnais landscape , around seven kilometers east-northeast of Montluçon . Neighboring municipalities of Saint-Angel are Verneix in the north, Bizeneuille in the northeast, Deneuille-les-Mines in the east, Doyet in the east and southeast, Chamblet in the south, Néris-les-Bains in the south and southwest, Montluçon in the west and southwest, Désertines in the West as well as Saint-Victor in the northwest.
