The canton of Montluçon-Est was 2015 a French canton in the arrondissement of Montlucon , in the department of Allier and the region Auvergne . It comprised five parishes and the eastern part of the main town (French:  chef-lieu ) Montluçon . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
