The District of Le Montet was 2015 a French canton in the Arrondissement Moulins , in Allier and the region Auvergne . It comprised eleven parishes, its main town (French:  chef-lieu ) was Le Montet . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. His last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Marie-Françoise Lacarin.
