The canton of Marcillat-en-Combraille was a French canton in the arrondissement of Montluçon , in the department of Allier and in the region of Auvergne until 2015 . It comprised 13 parishes, its main town (French:  chef-lieu ) was Marcillat-en-Combraille . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. His last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Christian Chito.
