The Canton Ébreuil was 2015 a French constituency in the district Montlucon in Allier in the region Auvergne in France . Its main town was Ébreuil .
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the departments as part of what was then District de Gannat . With the establishment of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was assigned to the new arrondissement of Gannat and redesigned. On September 10, 1926, the Gannat arrondissement was dissolved and the canton was added to the Montluçon arrondissement. The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
