The canton of Domérat-Montluçon-Nord-Ouest was 2015 a French canton of the arrondissement Montlucon in the department of Allier in the region Auvergne in France . The main town was Domérat , and the canton also comprised the northwestern part of the city of Montluçon .
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the departments as part of what was then District de Montluçon . With the establishment of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was assigned to the new arrondissement Montluçon and redesigned. The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
