The canton of Varennes-sur-Allier was a French canton in the arrondissement of Vichy , in the Département Allier and in the Auvergne region until 2015 . It comprised 15 parishes, its main town was Varennes-sur-Allier . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. His last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Élisabeth Albert-Cuisset ( DVD ).
