La Celle is about 18 kilometers southeast of Montluçon . La Celle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Commentry and Colombier in the north, Hyds in the northeast, Lapeyrouse in the east, Buxières-sous-Montaigut in the southeast, Montaigut in the south, Ars-les-Favets in the southwest, Ronnet in the west and southwest and Durdat-Larequille in the west and northwest.
