Doyet is located in the Bocage Bourbonnais countryside , around 14 kilometers east of Montluçon . Neighboring municipalities of Doyet are Deneuille-les-Mines in the north, Villefranche-d'Allier in the north-east, Bézenet in the east, Montvicq in the south, Malicorne in the south and south-west, Chamblet in the west and south-west and Saint-Angel in the west.
