history

Along the Bystřička ran the border between the dominions Meziříčí and Vsetín , which ran through a fir-beech forest area until the 15th century. In the course of colonization in the 15th century, two villages emerged on both sides of the estuary. On the right side was the Konvice belonging to Meziříčí and opposite on the Vsetín side Svojanov. Both places were in the floodplain of the Vsetínská Bečva and Bystřička; they were already described as desolate at the beginning of the 16th century. After the Margraviate of Moravia, which had previously consisted of the Brno and Olomouc districts, was divided into further districts in the middle of the 17th century, the course of the Bystřička formed a district boundary. The area to the right of the river belonged to the Prerau district and the left to the Hradian district.
