Celine Gemise Fareau (born September 16, 1984 in Versailles ) is a former French beach volleyball player .

Career

In the years 2000 to 2004, Fareau completed her first international tournaments and several youth world championships with various partners. In 2005 she formed a new duo with Marion Castelli . From 2007 she played alternately on the side of Mathilde Giordano and Tatiana Barrera . At the World Cup in Gstaad , she just failed with Barrera in the preliminary round. The 2007 European Championship ended with Giordano after two three-set defeats against the Germans Claasen / Röder and the Russians Schirjajewa / Urjadowa . The next year Fareau / Giordano lost at the European Championships in Hamburg against the German duo Brink-Abeler / Jurich and the Georgians Saka / Rtvelo . In 2009 Fareau played with Justine Abstruc without reaching any top placements.
