CJ box

CJ Box (born 1958 in Casper , Wyoming as Charles James Box) is an American writer . He writes thrillers and mystery thrillers as well as short stories . In some directories or publications it is also listed as Chuck J. Box or Chuck Box.

Life

He graduated from the University of Denver , where he earned a bachelor's degree in mass communication in 1981 .

He then worked as a journalist for Wyoming's Saratoga Sun , among others , as a rancher and as a game warden .

His first book was published in 2001 with the mystery thriller Open Season . In this book he introduces Joe Pickett, the main character of many of his other books.

CJ Box lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming with his wife Laurie and three daughters Molly, Becky and Roxanne. There he runs an international tourism marketing company as a partner together with his wife. He coordinates tourism programs in the Rocky Mountains and is involved in the Cheyenne Frontier Days rodeo . For this he received the Big WYO Award from Wyoming's tourism industry in 2008 .

There is currently a new book in prospect that will be published on March 21: Vicious Circle.
