The CIB Black Ball Women's Squash Open 2020 took place from March 8th to 14th, 2020 in the Egyptian capital Cairo . The women's squash tournament was part of the 2019/20 women's PSA World Tour and belonged to the PSA World Tour Platinum category .
Hania El Hammamy , who started the tournament in ninth place, secured the title. The then 19-year-old reigning junior world champion defeated the current world champion Nour El Sherbini in the final in a playing time of 71 minutes with 11: 6, 9:11, 12:10, 8:11 and 13:11 and won her fifth Title on the World Tour. El Hammamy, who had won her four tournaments so far on the Challenger Tour, also won her first title in a tournament in the highest category of the World Tour.
The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 48 players. The 16 best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Salma Youssef and Nour Aboulmakarim a spot in the main draw.
At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. The amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 180,500.
