The 18-year-old painter Ana is discovered by the art patron Justine on the Mediterranean island of Ibiza. She leaves her father Klaus, with whom she leads a dropout in a cave, and follows Justine in their artist colony in Madrid. She quickly settles into the life of an artist and falls in love with the young artist Said. There is a separation. Moved by visions and terrible nightmares, Ana lets herself be hypnotized and learns more and more of her fateful destiny and her previous life, in which she lives in different places and in different epochs as a young woman, dies violently and is reborn.
