The Cabo Zarzuela is a headland of Tay Head on the south coast of Joinville Island in front of the northeastern end of the Antarctic Peninsula . It protrudes 10 km east of Mount Alexander into the Firth of Tay .
Argentine scientists named it after Lieutenant Raúl Juan Zarzuela, co-pilot of an Avro Lincoln B019 , which crashed on March 22, 1950 in the Chilean province of Tierra del Fuego, killing all crew members.
