The Cacherat is a river in France that runs in the Loire department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises under the name Maladière in the Monts de la Madelaine , in the municipality of Ambierle , changes its name again to Fillerin , drains a good half of its route in an easterly direction, then turns north, changes its name again to the final name Cacherat and flows after about 19 kilometers at the hamlet of Beauvallon , in the municipality of Noailly, as a right tributary into the Tey sun .
