The Cagne is a coastal river in France that runs in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region . It rises under the name Foussa in the Préalpes d'Azur Regional Nature Park , in the municipality of Coursegoules , initially drains in a westerly direction, then turns from southeast to south and flows into the Mediterranean after a total of 28 kilometers in the urban area of Cagnes-sur-Mer .
