Cagwait is a municipality in the Philippines in the province of Surigao del Sur . The most important educational institution in the community is the Surigao del Sur State University , which was founded in 2010.
geography
Cagwait is located 32 km southwest of the provincial capital of Surigao del Sur Tandag City . It borders on the municipality of Bayabas in the north and Marihatag in the south. In the east lies the Pacific Ocean , in the west the Diwata Mountains .
