Caitlin Maureen McHugh (born May 13, 1986 in Santa Monica , California ) is an American actress and model .

Life

McHugh was the daughter of Leilani McHugh (born empeño) and Timothy McHugh in the US state of California was born. She attended the Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in La Cañada Flintridge , California and graduated in 2004. From 2004 to 2006 she studied contemporary dance at the University of North Carolina Art School . She is of Irish and Filipino descent.

McHugh was married to restaurateur Massimo Lusardi from June 3, 2011 to 2014 . In February 2018 she married the American actor John Stamos and their son was born in April.

Career

McHugh was the cover girl for Brides Magazine in 2008 and 2009 . In 2016 she was featured in a commercial for the international cosmetics brand Aussie . She also appeared in advertising for the toothpaste manufacturer Colgate-Palmolive . In 2017 she was seen in a commercial for the Buick Encore with Arielle Vandenberg .

Her film debut as an extra in 2007 in the film I Am Legend alongside Will Smith . In the same year she was seen in the short film Passing Trains: A Love Story . In 2009 she played a supporting role each in the first episode of the television series Castle and Kings . In 2014 she played the role of Sloan in a total of four episodes of the television series Vampire Diaries . This was followed by casts in short films, individual episodes of American television series and feature films with a low film budget ( B-Movies ) . She was also responsible for the script for the short film Ingenue-ish , which was released in 2007 .

Between 2016 and 2019, she appeared six times on the late-night show Entertainment Tonight .
