Cambridge is a village and the administrative seat of Henry County in the northwest of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois . In 2010 Cambridge had 2160 inhabitants.

Interstate 74 runs 12.7 km west of Cambridge and is the shortest route from the Quad Cities (35 miles northwest) to Indianapolis (461 miles southwest of Cambridge). Interstate 80 runs 17.3 km north of Cambridge from the Quad Cities to Chicago (259 km to the east).

County Seat
Cambridge is home to the administration of Henry County. The Henry County Courthouse, designed by Thomas J. Tolan & Son, Architects of Fort Wayne , Indiana , and built from 1875 to 1878, dominates the cityscape. The courthouse was included in the National Register of Historic Places in 2004 .
