Cameron Twynham (born February 14, 1996 in Market Harborough , Leicestershire ) is a British racing driver .

Career

Twynham began his motorsport career in karting in 2009, where he remained active until 2011. In 2012, Twynham made his formula racing debut and competed for Fortec Motorsport in the InterSteps Championship . With seven podium finishes, he finished the season in fourth place overall. He then took part in the BARC Formula Renault winter series for SWB Motorsport . He reached the sixth position. In 2013 Twynham received a cockpit with the West-Tec F3 team in the European F3 Open . He was 31st overall. Since he was traveling in an older vehicle, he was also entitled to points in the Copa classification. In this he won two races and was second behind Richard Gonda . In addition, Twynham competed for the West-Tec team at two events of the British Formula 3 Championship in the national class.

In 2014, Twynham initially stayed with Team West-Tec F3 in the racing series now called Euroformula Open and received a current vehicle. He achieved a podium finish with a third place. After the first half of the season, he ended his involvement in this championship. At the end of the season he was in ninth place. Then took Twynham for Comtec Racing at three events of the Formula Renault 3.5 part. There he reached the 24th place overall.
