The 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 season was the 17th season of the main series of the World Series by Renault . Carlos Sainz Jr. won the championship title.

Teams and drivers

All teams used the Dallara T12 chassis , Zytek engines and Michelin tires .

  • Caterham ended the cooperation with Arden , which will start again independently in 2014.

Racing calendar

The 2014 season racing calendar was published on October 20, 2013. It comprised nine race weekends, with two races each taking place apart from in Monte Carlo . The race in Monte Carlo took place as part of the Formula 1 Grand Prix there. At the season opener in Monza , Formula Renault 3.5 carried out its race weekend alone. The remaining seven events make up the calendar of the World Series by Renault .

Compared to the previous year, the Spielberg event returned to the Nürburgring . Barcelona have been replaced by Jerez .
