In the Northern European Formula Renault Tunjo contested three of eight events and finished the championship in 23rd place. Here, too, he achieved a podium placement with a third place. In 2012 Tunjo switched to Tech 1 Racing and was accepted into the support program of the Lotus Formula 1 racing team. He improved to seventh place in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. Tunjo also achieved his first victory. In addition, he played five out of seven events in the Alpine Formula Renault . He won two races and finished the season in fourth place. In both series he was one position behind his teammate Paul-Loup Chatin . In 2013 Tunjo returned to Josef Kaufmann Racing, the championship team of the last two years. In the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup he only failed to make the top 10 twice and was on the podium twice. As the best driver of his racing team, he finished sixth in the overall standings. In 2014 , Signature signed Tunjo for the European Formula 3 Championship . He was the first driver to be signed for Renault's return as an engine manufacturer. However, Tunjo left the team during the tests before the season because the engine was not competitive. Signature also withdrew from the series before it began. Tunjo finally got into the Formula Renault 3.5 for the fourth race weekend of the season . He started for Pons Racing , with whom he received a contract until the end of 2015 . Tunjo finished the season in 22nd place overall and was thus internally defeated by his team-mate Meindest van Buuren Jr. who turned 19th. In early 2015 it became known that Tunjo and Pons had terminated their contract. The team justified the step with Tunjo's budget problems. Instead Tunjo started for Trident Racing in the GP3 series in 2015 . In the second sprint race in Spielberg , he achieved his first victory. After the third race weekend, he lost his cockpit. In the 2016 GP3 series , Tunjo only competed in three events due to budget problems. For Jenzer Motorsport , second place was his best result.
