Candy Reynolds (born March 24, 1955 ) is a former American tennis player .

Career

In her professional career, Reynolds first won the WTA tournament in Pittsburgh in 1979 with Sue Barker in women's doubles , then in 1983 the French Open with her doubles partner Rosalyn Fairbank ; they decided the match against Kathy Jordan and Anne Smith 5: 7, 7: 5, 6: 2 for themselves. Reynolds reached the finals of the Australian Open 1980 (with Ann Kiyomura ) and the French Open 1981 (with Paula Smith ). The American achieved her best placings in the WTA world rankings with rank 50 in singles (1983) and rank 24 in doubles (1986) . Her best performance in individual Grand Slam tournaments was at the Australian Open, when she advanced to the quarter-finals there in 1980.
