Cao Zhen (born January 8, 1987 in Shandong ) is a Chinese table tennis player . She became world champion in mixed in 2009 and 2011.

Career

In 2003 Cao Zhen was at the ATTU Asian Championships junior champion with the Chinese team, in doubles with Peng Luyang she reached the final. In the same year she entered the Junior World Championship in Santiago. Here, too, she was part of the winning team. In singles she reached the semifinals, in mixed with Ma Long she reached the finals.

Also in 2003, she first appeared in an adult tournament. At the Pro-Tour tournament in Johor Bahru , Malaysia , she won singles and doubles. Until 2010 she still appeared in numerous Pro Tour tournaments, for example in 2005 at the German Open , where she won gold in the individual. In 2005 , 2007 , 2009 and 2011 she took part in the World Championships. She was particularly successful in the mixed competition. With Qiu Yike she reached the semifinals in 2005 and 2007, the title she won in 2009 with Li Ping and 2011 with Zhang Chao .

In 2010, Somalia issued a series of stamps featuring Chinese table tennis players, including Cao Zhen.
