The CarUnion Group is an automobile trading company in Germany and sells Renault , Dacia , Nissan , Seat , Mitsubishi and Kia vehicles at a total of 23 locations in Saxony , Saxony-Anhalt , Lower Saxony , Hesse and Thuringia

history

The automobile companies CarUnion / AutoTag go back to the engine repair company of the Henze family, which was opened in 1931 by Fritz Henze in Hannover-Linden . In 1967 his son Ferdinand Henze received the first Renault service contract. Six years later, Henze became a contract partner of Renault. Werner Meyer and Manfred Sachweh took over the workshop area in 1986 and founded the independent company Motoren Henze on July 1st of that year.

In 1990 Fritz Henze, the grandson of the same name of the company founder, and Detlef Gloger founded AutoTag GmbH based in Leipzig . Since then the company has grown. In 1999 the companies AutoTag, Autohaus Wachau and Autohaus Saale merged in Leipzig and Halle under Hans-Peter Priesnitz as managing director. In Hanover , Henze and Bartels merged to form CarUnion GmbH. AutoTag and CarUnion have been the main dealers in the Deutsche Renault AG sales network since 2002.

In 2007 the realignment of AutoTag and CarUnion began. The holding company BST GmbH became the umbrella organization for the two companies. In 2012, Wieland Heß joined CarUnion / AutoTag with the Hess car dealership group.

The history of CarUnion HESS began in 1923 when the company was founded by Eduard Heß. At the beginning it was still a small haulage company, which in the third generation developed into a car dealership as a licensed partner for the brands Renault, Nissan and Daica.

The network of CarUnion branches has expanded further since 2012. In 2017 CarUnion took over three operations from the insolvent Stutzer car dealership and two other dealerships and represents two new brands with Seat and Kia . The former family business Renault Autohaus Steinhardt has also been part of the CarUnion group of companies since September 2018. The Bad Hersfeld location was also added. The car dealerships in Aken and Dessau have also been part of CarUnion since September 2019. Gotha and Jena (Wöllnitz) followed as new locations

The aim of CarUnion's jersey campaign is to promote popular sport in the regions in which CarUnion is active.

CarUnion is represented with over 20 branches in the federal states of Lower Saxony , Saxony , Saxony-Anhalt , Thuringia and Hesse and sells vehicles of the brands Renault, Dacia, Nissan, Seat, Kia and Mitsubishi there. In addition, CarUnion offers all services related to cars.
