Carl Gander

Carl Georg Friedrich Gander (born December 17, 1855 in Steinweiler ; † October 26, 1899 there ) was a farmer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Gander attended the Latin and Trade School in Landau in the Palatinate . From 1876 he worked in agriculture in Steinweiler. From 1894 to 1897 he was first chairman of the Federation of Farmers , Palatinate Department, and from 1897 second chairman.

From 1898 until his death he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency Pfalz 3 ( Germersheim , Bergzabern ) and the National Liberal Party , where he was nominated as a joint candidate of the National Liberals and the Federation of Farmers.
