Wilhelm Spindler (born July 5, 1861 in Forst an der Weinstrasse ; † February 7, 1927 there ) was a German politician.

Life

Spindler belonged to the Center Party and was head of the Palatinate Center Party from 1907 to 1918. From 1907 to 1912 he was a member of the Reichstag of the German Empire , where he represented the constituency Pfalz 3 (Germersheim). In addition, he had a seat in the Chamber of Deputies of the Kingdom of Bavaria in the 19th electoral term, from 1905 to 1907, in the 20th electoral term, from 1907 to 1911 and in the 21st electoral term, from 1911 to 1918 ; he entered the 19th electoral term in the Kandel constituency , in the two following in the Germersheim constituency . In both parliaments he represented the interests of viticulture in today's Palatinate . Spindler was the mayor of his home community of Forst and ran a winery here .
