Carl Gustav Graf von Reder, Freiherr auf Krappitz and Dobrau , also Reder or Röder (* September 12, 1691 , † August 28, 1779 in Dobrau ) was a Prussian minister .

Life

Origin and family

Carl Gustav was a member of the Count Roedern , barons of Krappitz . His parents were Erdmann von Graf Rödern and Charlotte, née Countess Schulz. In 1714 he married Johanna Eleonore Countess von Preysing, baroness von Stein and Sonnek (1695–1757). From the marriage the son Erdmann Carl Graf von Roedern (1715–1782), Prussian counselor and heir of the Hohlstein rule emerged, who continued the tribe with his wife Friederike, nee Freiin von Schmettau .

Career

Roedern was from September 3, 1745 and until 1754 Oberpräsident of Opole . This position included the Oberamtsregierung, the senior consistory and the pupil college . He was a knight of the Danish Dannebrogden and the Württemberg St. Hubertus Hunting Order . On August 7, 1746 he was appointed Real Secretary of State. He was also a member of the Prussian government. In 1755 he asked for his departure, which was granted to him.
