Carl Heinrich Konstantin von Ende

Carl Heinrich Konstantin von Ende (original spelling), also modernized Karl Heinrich Konstantin von Ende or obsolete Carl Heinrich Constantin von Ende (born July 1, 1784 in Merseburg ; † 1845 ) was a royal Saxon secret councilor, governor and curator of the University of Leipzig as well Manor owner.

Life

He came from the Meissen noble family from Ende and was the son of the heir to Roitzsch and royal Saxon court judge as well as member of the Merseburg Chamber of Commerce Carl Bernhard von Ende († October 3, 1807). The royal Polish and electoral Saxon Privy Council, chief court judge, director of the consistory in Leipzig and manor owner Carl Gottlob von Ende (1700–1771) was his grandfather.

In the Electorate of Saxony, Carl Heinrich Konstantin rose from Ende after completing his law degree at the University of Leipzig, initially as a member of the collegiate government in Merseburg and as a senior court judge in Leipzig. As such, he acquired half of the Niederbeuna manor from Heinrich August von Holleuffer in 1807 and, in 1809, the second half for a total of 51,000 thalers. In 1810 he was referred to as a supernumerar, a government and also a court judge. In 1813 he was also active as a consistorial councilor.

On June 1, 1820, as the royal Saxon governor, he sold his Niederbeuna estate, now in the Kingdom of Prussia , to Friedrich Wilhelm Scheibner from Lehnin Monastery .

Honors

In 1843 he was the bearer of the Saxon Commander's Cross.

family

He was married to Wilhelmine Friederike Sophie von Haeseler (* May 10, 1783; † 1854/56 in Dresden ). She was the daughter of Friedrich August von Haeseler (1729–1796), electoral Saxon chamberlain and hunting squire as well as chief forest and game master in Schleusingen and Sophie Wilhelmine born von Wurmb (* November 7, 1761; † September 20, 1793). Wilhelmine Frederike Sophie von Ende was the founder of the Haeseler-von-Ende Foundation.
