Carl Heinrich Möller

Carl Heinrich Möller , also Carl Hinrich Möller and Karl Heinrich Möller (born September 8, 1709 in Rostock , † October 24, 1759 in Wismar ) was a German lawyer and judge at the Wismar Tribunal .

Life

Carl Heinrich Möller was a son of Otto Peter Möller (1664–1746), pastor at the Jakobikirche in Rostock , and his wife Magdalena, daughter of the theologian Josua Arnd . He studied at the universities of Rostock , Leipzig , Wittenberg and Jena . In 1732 he was licensed in Rostock . , 1732 Dr. iur. PhD. In the following years he worked as a lawyer and private lecturer, prepared legal opinions for Reich Chamber Court and tribunal proceedings and carried out exams at the law faculty. In 1750 he was appointed professor of law at the University of Rostock and shortly afterwards assessor at the Rostock consistory . In 1751 he received an assessor position at the Wismar Tribunal and continued this activity until the end of his life.

He was married to Hedwig Katharina Roloff since 1735.
