Carl Hubert Sattler

Carl Hubert Sattler (born July 4, 1880 in Erlangen , † September 7, 1953 in Limburg an der Lahn ) was a German ophthalmologist.

Life

Sattler was the son of the ophthalmologist Hubert Sattler . From 1899 he studied medicine at the University of Leipzig , the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich and the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . In 1904 he was promoted to Dr. med. PhD. In 1911 he completed his habilitation at the Albertus University in Königsberg . Under Arthur Birch-Hirschfeld he was appointed associate professor in 1917 and senior physician in 1918. Since 1921 he was a regular associate professor and until 1939 he was the head physician of the department for eye patients in the Catholic Elisabeth Hospital of the Gray Sisters in Königsberger Ziegelstrasse. From 1945 he ran an ophthalmological practice in Diez .
