Carl Möllenhoff

Carl Wilhelm Albert Möllenhoff (born April 10, 1851 in Werne ; † November 4, 1937 in Berlin-Dahlem ) was a Prussian district administrator and member of the Rhenish provincial council.

Life

Carl Wilhelm Albert Möllenhoff was born as the son of the lawyer and notary Carl Möllenhoff and his wife Auguste Wiethaus. He attended high school in Dortmund and studied in Göttingen , Leipzig and Strasbourg Jura . Appointed court trainee in Dortmund in 1873 , he received his appointment as court assessor at the Wiesbaden public prosecutor's office on July 17, 1878 . He switched to administration and worked as a government assessor for the Schleswig district government and the Düsseldorf district government . On April 2, 1886, he was appointed government councilor with subsequent transfer to the position of district administrator of the Solingen district . He was a member of the Rhenish Provincial Parliament from 1890 to 1894. Finally, in 1894, he was transferred to the Königsberg district government and from July 14, 1894, he worked as the administrative court director. Most recently, he was a senior administrative judge in Berlin.
