Carl Röder (painter)

Carl Röder , also Karl Röder or Carl Roeder (* July 1, 1852 in Düsseldorf , † February 17, 1922 in Dresden ), was a German landscape and animal painter from the Düsseldorf School .

Life

From 1868, Röder studied painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . First he attended the elementary class of Andreas Müller . From 1872 to 1878 he was a student in Eugen Dücker's landscape class . Röder settled in Düsseldorf, where he became a member of the Malkasten artists' association .
