Carl Rudolf Bohtz
Carl Rudolf Bohtz (born August 22, 1864 in Schmagorei ; † November 21, 1922 in Wiesbaden ) was a German manor owner and from 1913 to 1918 a member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Bohtz attended high schools in Züllichau and Hirschberg . After graduating from high school, he began to study law and political science at the Friedrichs University in Halle . In 1886 he became active in the Corps Palaiomarchia Halle . When he was inactive , he moved to the University of Leipzig and the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin .
He joined the Prussian Army and served in the Grenadier Regiment Prince Karl of Prussia (2nd Brandenburg) No. 12 . From 1896 to 1899 he attended the military academy . In 1902 he retired from active service as captain to take over the management of the paternal estate Schmagorei. He was head of office, registrar, member of the district council, the district synod and the Brandenburg provincial synod and chairman of the Brandenburg provincial association to combat vagabondness.
For the German Conservative Party and the constituency of Frankfurt 5 ( Oststernberg , Weststernberg ), he sat in the German Reichstag from 1913 to 1918.
One son was the engineer and historian Carl Helmut Bohtz.
