Carl Voss (politician)
Carl Voss (also Karl Voss ; born August 19, 1897 in Rüstringen , † February 13, 1969 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).
Live and act
After attending primary school in Wilhelmshaven , Carl Voss completed an apprenticeship as a mechanic at a naval shipyard. From September 1916 onwards he took part in the First World War, in which he fought as a musketeer on the western and eastern fronts.
In 1927 Voss joined the NSDAP ( membership number 69.281). In 1929 he took over the leadership of the NSDAP local group in Fedderwarden . There he also became a member of the local council, in which he led the NSDAP faction.
In August 1934 Voss took over the office of military district chairman of the German Labor Front (DAF) with responsibility for the Wehrmacht department at the North Sea naval station . In March 1935 he also took over responsibility for the Wilhelmshaven naval shipyard. From the beginning of August 1941 he headed the German Navy Office in the DAF.
From March 1936 until the end of the Nazi regime in the spring of 1945, Voss sat as a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 14 (Weser-Ems) .
