Carl zu Dohna-Schlobitten

Carl Wilhelm Reinhold Burggraf and Count zu Dohna-Schlobitten (born April 28, 1857 in Wiesbaden , † June 3, 1942 in Berlin ) was a German manor owner and administrative officer.

Life

Carl zu Dohna-Schlobitten was the son of the burgrave and count Hermann zu Dohna on Brunau, Marienburg district (West Prussia) , and Lydia nee. from Auerswald . After attending the Wilhelms-Gymnasium Berlin and the Ritterakademie Brandenburg , he studied law and camera science at the University of Geneva , the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Berlin . In 1880 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1900 to 1905/06 he was district administrator of the Braunsberg district .

At Dohna-Schlobitten was Herr auf Brunau near Rosenberg in West Prussia . Since 1893 he was married to Else Countess von der Schulenburg (1867–1938). The marriage produced three sons.
