Carlos Garcia Knight (born May 6, 1997 ) is a New Zealand snowboarder . He starts in the freestyle disciplines .

Career

Garcia Knight has been participating in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour and FIS competitions since 2012 . At the 2014 Junior Snowboard World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco, he finished 12th in the halfpipe and seventh in slopestyle . The following year he won the silver medal in slopestyle at the Snowboard Junior World Championships in Yabuli . He made his debut in the World Cup in February 2015 in Park City , which he finished in 41st place in slopestyle. In March 2016, he was each in slopestyle at the Burton US Open in VailFourth and second in the Spring Battle in Flachauwinkl . At the 2017 Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada , he came 18th in Big Air and seventh in slopestyle. After third place in the Slopestyle World Cup in Cardrona at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, he finished 17th in Slopestyle at the 2018 Winter X Games in Aspen and 11th place in Big Air at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang and fifth place in slopestyle.
