At the age of 15 she competed in her first FIS race in Adelboden . Two years later she made her debut at home in the European Cup , but was only able to achieve top spots in a few years. Her first major success was in Jaun in February 2014 when she was named Swiss junior champion in slalom. In March 2017 she took part in her first and only Junior World Championship in Åre . She started in four disciplines and finished in 11th, 13th, 23rd and 30th in slalom, combined, super-G and giant slalom. She finished the 2016/17 season with five FIS slalom victories, including one on her favorite Diavolezza course . After improving in the European Cup, she was included in the Swiss-Ski B-team for the first time.

On November 11, 2017, Bissig made her World Cup debut in Levi's slalom . In January 2018 she won the first points in her fourth slalom in Kranjska Gora and also placed in the top 30 in Flachau and Lenzerheide.
