The Carpiner See is a lake in the municipality of Carpin in the Mecklenburg Lake District between the much larger Schlesersee (GKZ = 96642632, 64.2 m above sea level), into which it flows, and the town of Carpin. The lake belongs to the catchment area of the Tollense and thus the Peene . It is less than a kilometer from the watershed to that of the Havel and thus the Elbe . It has a north-south extension of about 450 meters and a west-east extension of about 100 meters. Its water level is 67.3 meters above sea level. It is fed from a small valley adjoining it to the south with a one kilometer long spring stream that rises at a good 75 m above sea level.
