Carsten Rietschel
Carsten Rietschel (born February 20, 1973 in Meißen ) is a German dancer .
Life
Rietschel grew up in Saxony , where he attended the State Ballet School in Leipzig from 1987 to 1992 and was trained in jazz dance , among other things .
Rietschel has been a dancer with the German TV ballet of the MDR since 1992, and has been a soloist in the show dance ensemble for many years. Since then he has appeared with the television ballet in many shows at home and abroad. Dance partners were, for example, Anna Maria Kaufmann , Marika Rökk , Mireille Mathieu and Petra Kusch-Lück . The folk music festivals on ARD , in which the television ballet is an integral part, gives him a podium in solo dance. He also appeared in skits on the Saturday night show. On the Tanzpalast tour in autumn 2009, Rietschel also moderated the show finals.
Since May 2010 he has presented the MDR show Schlager-Boulevard together with his dance partner Celeste Rose Mackeprang . Rietschel has a daughter and lives with a former ballet dancer in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen .
