Casey Erin McKinnon (born March 13, 1978 in Montreal , Québec ) is a Canadian actress , writer , video editor and film producer .

life and career

McKinnon grew up in her hometown of Montreal. She attended St. Thomas High School in Pointe-Claire with her partner Rudy Jahchan and studied East Asian Studies at McGill University in Montreal . She studied there with her friend Autumn Phillips . Before pursuing a full-time career in new media , she worked for the United Nations .

McKinnon was under her pseudonym Ms. Kitka known and moderated the erotic messages - and entertainment - show called Kitkast that its on 15 October 2005 premiere celebrated. Inspired by podcasting and the British , sexually exploratory , travel -Fernsehshow Sin Cities , won Kitkast mainstream attention from the music magazine Rolling Stone and the British newspaper The Guardian .

From July to October 2007, McKinnon wrote a monthly column for the Guardian that featured her experience of working with web videos.
