Casey Powell (born February 18, 1976 in West Carthage , New York ) is an American lacrosse player. He was the captain of the USA national team at the 2006 World Lacrosse Championship . He also plays indoor lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League with the New York Titans.
Powell plays in defensive attack. Since 1995 he has played on the college team at Syracuse University . His two brothers, Ryan and Mikey , are also excellent lacrosse players.
Powell played from 2001 to 2005 in Major League Lacrosse (MLL) first with the Long Island Lizards until he joined the Rochester Rattlers in 2003. He was MLL player of the year in 2005.
