Kaspar or Caspar Henne (n) berg (er) (* 1529 ; † February 29, 1600 in Königsberg i. Pr. ) Was a German pastor who became known as a cartographer and regional historian.

He came from a place that is indicated with Erlich or Ehrlichen, and is sought in Thuringia or in Upper Franconia south of Hof or in Franconia.

Hennenberger, whose name is also given as Hennenberg, Henneberger and Henneberg, studied theology at the University of Königsberg i. Pr. , Where he was enrolled on June 30, 1550 as Casparus Hennenberger, Francus , and from 1554 was pastor in Domnau and chaplain in Georgenau , then for 29 years pastor in Mühlhausen in Natangen and from 1590 clergyman at the hospital in Löbenicht in Königsberg i . Pr.

Soon after 1555 he published a map of Livonia in print, of which no copy has survived, and in 1576 the first accurate map of Prussia. Willem Blaeu , Abraham Ortelius and other cartographers continued to use the map.

In both of his books he brought an abundance of folkloric and regional news, illustrated with woodcuts.
