Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth is an action game with platforming elements that was released in 2009 as WiiWare exclusively for the Nintendo Wii . It is the sequel to Castlevania: The Adventure , published in 1989 for the Game Boy .
Gameplay
Peace has reigned since Count Dracula's death 100 years ago. Now he has risen again and wants to subdue the country again.
The player takes on the role of Christopher Belmont to defeat Dracula again.
As usual in the game series, you penetrate deeper into the castle from level to level and use a whip to fight animals such as B. bats , skeletons or zombies . The player can collect all sorts of items such as potions or alternative weapons.
In the last level you face Dracula as the final boss . Besides, it is the highest possible high score to achieve.
The game graphics are kept in the classic 16-bit style (see SNES ) and are displayed as a side scroller .

Metacritic calculated a Metascore of 78/100 based on 22 reviews.
The German-language Wii Magazine No. 3/2010 gave the game a rating of 83%.
Soundtrack
The official soundtrack was released under the title Dracula Densetsu ReBirth & Contra ReBirth Original Soundtrack on March 24, 2010 in Japan for ¥ 2,520 on CD-ROM .
