Cathrine Høegh Dekkerhus (born September 17, 1992 in Kongsvinger , Norway) is a Norwegian soccer player who plays for Stabæk FK and the national team.

Career

society

Dekkerhus began her professional career with the Strømmen FK team , which started in 2010 under the name Lillestrøm SK Kvinner . There she made her debut on September 2, 2008 in the Toppserien and scored her first goal on September 13, 2008. For the 2011 season she moved to league rivals Stabæk FK. In her first season she scored the decisive goal in the sixteenth final of the Champions League in the 1-0 first leg win against 1. FFC Frankfurt . Stabæk was eliminated from the competition after a 4-1 defeat in the second leg. In 2011 (behind Røa IL ) and 2012 (behind Lillestrøm SK) Dekkerhus was the Norwegian runner-up and was successful with her team in the national cup competition in 2012 . In 2013 she finally won the Norwegian championship with Stabæk.

National team

Dekkerhus has played through all of the youth teams of the Norwegian Football Association since 2006 . In 2009 she was part of the Norwegian team that qualified for the U-17 European Championship in Nyon , where she finished fourth with the team. Two years later she reached the final of the U-19 European Championship in Italy , where the team lost 8-1 to the German team . In 2012 she took part in the U-20 World Cup in Japan and reached the quarter-finals there. On January 12, 2013 Dekkerhus finally made her debut for the Norwegian national team in the friendly against South Korea , took part in the 2013 European Championship in Sweden and reached the final with the team, which they lost 1-0 to Germany . Dekkerhus came to five missions during the European Championship.

Personal

Dekkerhus' mother is Danish, so Dekkerhus speaks fluent Danish. She lives in Oslo. Her younger sister Cecilie is also a football player at Stabæk FK.
