action
Unsuccessful acting teacher Scott McNally ( Gregory Harrison ) finds $ 20,000 of unknown origin in his bank account . A little later, $ 10 million is transferred. McNally is charged with the murder of a man who was beaten to death with a wheel wrench. The murder weapon remains undetectable. McNally pays his bail with the money transferred, but a lawyer refuses to accept money from an unknown source as payment. The waitress Rachel ( Leslie Hope ), who wants to take acting lessons, supports him. She becomes his mistress.
While doing research, McNally is attacked by Stan Richards, whom Rachel kills with a knife. Shortly afterwards she disappears. Rachel, who was employed in a restaurant where she was supposed to work, was different from McNally's acquaintance.
McNally finds Rachel in a bank where she works in a senior position. It turns out that the money should be transferred to the account of a company whose number is slightly different from McNally's account number. If the fraud was discovered prematurely, Rachel could claim she made a mistake. The murder was committed by Richards, Rachel's accomplice.
Rachel says she loves McNally. It turns out she had worked as an actress in the past, which didn't bring enough income. Rachel and McNally want to flee, a policeman is shot on the way to the airport. At the airport, the murder weapon, a wheel spanner smeared with blood, is found in McNally's luggage. McNally is arrested, Rachel goes to the plane alone. There she suddenly sees the allegedly shot police officer who arrests her. It turns out that McNally and the police set a trap for her.
